Stopping and Resuming a Star Custom Test
Stopping a Star Custom Test
Situations may arise in the classroom which interrupt a test (for example, a surprise fire drill). If this happens, the teacher or the student can pause the test so the student can return to it later.
- Select Stop in the upper-right corner of the screen.
- Click one of the following options:
||You want to stop the test, but plan to come back to it later.
||— Test score will be recorded after test is resumed and completed.
— When resumed, the test will resume on the same question number.
||You want to continue taking the test now instead of pausing it.
||— Test continues as usual.
- After you pause a test, you will see a confirmation message, and the test window will close. The student will return to the Home page.
In the student's Assignments list on the Home page, the paused assignment will be shown as "Suspended."
Resuming a Star Custom Test
To resume a Star Custom test that has been paused, the student selects the test from the Assignments list on the Home page. (A paused test is described as "Suspended" in the list.)
The test will resume on the same question the student was on when the test was paused.
