Set Learning Standards

From this page you can choose the learning standards to use for Math, Reading (English), and Reading Spanish. By default, the learning standards are set to your state's adopted standards.

How do I get to this page?

  1. On the Home page, select your name in the upper-right corner. In the drop-down list, select Manage Apps & Users

  2. Select Product Administration.
  3. Under Product Setup, select Set Learning Standards.

How to set learning standards

Who can do this with default user permissions?

District Level Administrators

Use the drop-down lists to choose the learning standards to use for Math, Reading (English), and Reading Spanish. You will be able to choose a standard from a list of alternatives, based on your state.



Important: Student assessments and assignments may be affected when the Learning Standards setting is edited after the school year has started. Consider retesting or printing new assignments for your students after editing this setting.

Reading sets the standards for AR 360, Planner, Star Reading, Star Early Literacy, Star Custom, and Reading Reports/Dashboards, which include reporting on English Star results.

Math sets the standards for Accelerated Math Instructional Practice, Planner, Star Math (English and Spanish), Star Custom, and the Math Reports/Dashboard.

Reading Spanish sets the learning progression used for Spanish reading standards and skills and reporting on Star Reading Spanish and Star Early Literacy Spanish assessment results.

To save your changes, select Save Changes. Otherwise, select Undo Changes.
