Screening dates are a short span of dates (less than 30 days) during which students have a test administered. Screening dates can be used for many purposes:

  • Reporting—focusing on data from a single screening date or comparing growth between multiple screening dates.
  • Goal-setting—for example, when setting a goal for a group of students to improve test scores by 50% by the end of the school year, you could set up four screening dates spaced throughout the school year to serve as checkpoints when you monitor their progress towards that goal.
  • Determining test type—the setting of the Enterprise Tests Preference (school- and class-level) can have different effects depending on whether a student takes a test inside or outside of a screening date.

The table shows the default screening dates that are automatically set up at the start of a new school year:

  • Fall (September 1–September 15)
  • Winter (January 1–January 15)
  • Spring (May 1–May 15)

Screening dates for all schools and all assignment types are shown by default. Use the drop-down lists in the navigation sentence to view screening dates in specific schools and for specific test activities .

  • Select Edit in the row for an existing screening date to edit it, or select Delete to delete it.
  • To add new screening dates, select Add Screening .
  • If you are in the process of setting up a new school year, select Previous to return to the prior step (adding/editing days off).
  • Select Done if you are done setting up a new school year.
