Upload State Assessment Files

State test data can be uploaded using My Data. Access "My Data" from the Settings menu.

Scroll to find the "State Assessment Data" section and click to "edit connection information". Each page will provide directions on how to upload the supported file(s).

Before uploading, ensure that:

  • The file has not been modified (e.g. remove columns, change data types) in any way
  • You are uploading a file in the correct format (e.g. csv, xlsx)
  • (If applicable) You've selected the correct file layout from the drop down menu

submit your CAASPP Data form

Data that are uploaded will be processed and made available in reports within 24 hours as long as Schoolzilla has already successfully connected to your Student Information System.  We require the connection to your SIS because the data from assessments must be automatically matched with students in your SIS before being included in reports.

If you do not see a file layout for the year you are uploading, please use the generic File Upload form on My Data. This will trigger a notification to our team and we  will share a timeline for when you can expect to see data for the new file format.

Set up High-Frequency Systems

When supported by a vendor and data that changes frequently, Schoolzilla will automate a connection to a behavior management or assessment system so that data gets updated without any on-going work on your part.

If your contract includes one of the systems below, follow the linked directions to provide what's needed.

DeansList

Schoolzilla leverages DeansList's API to pull data into your Data Warehouse. You will need to reach out to DeansList's support team to get your:

  • API URL (for each school)
  • API Key (for each school)

Once you have received the API URLs and keys, enter them for each school on My Data.

Illuminate DnA

Note: if you use Illuminate’s SIS, no additional connection information is required.

Please follow the connection steps for Illuminate.

iReady

Curriculum Associates provides data files to Schoolzilla directly after a data sharing agreement is signed. Schoolzilla will share a data sharing agreement with you using DocuSign. If you do not receive one in DocuSign, please work with your Implementation Specialist or Project Manager.

For additional information, or if you don't see the assessment you are looking for on this page, please see our Connectors section.

If you find the directions on My Data or in the help articles confusing, please let us know. We are always working to make the directions clearer to save you and your colleagues time locating supported files!
