What Causes a Black Screen When Students Open Books?

If students see a black screen instead of the text when opening a book, the browser the student is using may need to be updated. To solve the problem, update the browser, or use another browser that is a current version. To see which browser version you're using, go to https://www.myon.com/system_check.html.

If you are using a current browser, and you see either a black screen or a loop in which the page keeps refreshing, the clock on the computer may not be set to the correct time, which can cause problems when myON checks for inactivity. Check the computer's time and reset it to the correct time and the correct time zone to solve this problem.
