What Causes a Black Screen When Students Open Books?
If students see a black screen instead of the text when opening a book, have them follow these steps:
- Check to see if the student's browser needs to be updated to the current version. To see which browser version you're using, go to https://www.myon.com/system_check.html.
- Clear all cookies and the cache in the browser.
- Make sure the browser settings allow popups and redirects.

If you see a loop in which the page keeps refreshing, the clock on the computer may not be set to the correct time, which can cause problems when myON checks for inactivity. Check the computer's time and reset it to the correct time and the correct time zone to solve this problem.
