Standards, Skills, and Subskills
Accelerated Math 2.0 shows you the standards, skills, and subskills available for your students to work on:
Standards are the learning goals that indicate what students should know and be able to do at each grade level. Meeting rigorous grade-level standards helps ensure that students will be successful in college and careers.
Skills are specific and measurable abilities, based on knowledge and procedure in an area of learning.
Focus skills (marked by >> on the Assignment Plan and Learning Schedule pages) are those skills most critical for students to meet grade-level expectations.
Subskills are specific and measurable abilities, based on knowledge and procedure in an area of learning, that are practiced through a product skill.
