Changing the Class Marking Periods Preference
Use the Class Marking Periods Preference to choose the marking periods that you want to use for setting goals and on reports. Only the marking periods that you select will be available when you set Accelerated Math goals for students.
The Class Marking Periods Preference is a class preference. You can only choose settings for one class at a time, but you can choose different settings for different classes.
Who can do this with default capabilities?
District Administrators, School Administrators, Teachers
On the Home page, select Other Math & Reading Apps. On the next page, select the green Accelerated Math tile (shown below); then, select Preferences.
If you have access to more than one school, use the School drop-down list above the list of class preferences to choose a school. If you have more than one class, click the Class drop-down list and select a class.
Click Class Marking Periods in the list.
The Select Class Marking Periods page has two lists.
The first list shows you which marking periods have already been selected for the class. To remove a marking period from this list, click Remove in the row for that marking period. If student goals have been set for this marking period, the program will remind you that these goals will be deleted. If you want to continue, click OK.
The second list shows you all of the marking periods that the administrator has added for your school and school year. If you want to select one of these marking periods to use for goals and reports, click Select in the row for that marking period to add it to the first list. You cannot select overlapping marking periods. For example, you can select either individual marking periods or the entire school year, but not both.
If you want to use a marking period that is not shown for your class goals, ask your school administrator to add that marking period to this school year for your school.
When you have finished making your changes, click Save. If you do not want to save your changes, click Cancel instead.
